Tucker Hill Vineyards began in Hinton in 2002 with 400 grape vines. Barry Dittmer and Brenda Dittmer have led the program from the start, waiting until 2008 for those vines to fruit. Now one acre in production, the vineyard uses Iowa grapes and ferments in stainless steel. The portfolio spans Marechal Foch, a smooth burgundy-style red, alongside Frontenac's spicy character, plus Niagara, LaCrosse, Edelweiss, Moscato, and Catawba. Visits by appointment only.
