Hans Tschida works sandy and mineral-saline soils in Illmitz, on the Neusiedlersee. The program spans Welschriesling and Grüner Veltliner, but the house is known for its sweet wines. Rosé Sparkling Brut Nature, TBA Welschriesling Ried Domkapitel, Late Release Grüner Veltliner Schilfwein 2013, and the Sweet Wine Collection define the cellar. Tschida has been named Sweet Winemaker of the Year in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. The winery holds Nachhaltig Austria and IFS certifications. Food is served on-site. Dogs are welcome.
