About Tongue River Winery
Tongue River Winery sits on the banks of the Tongue River in Miles City, Montana, founded in 2010. The program works entirely with Montana fruit and grapes, favoring hybrid varieties over West Coast vinifera. The cellar produces Minnesota hybrids alongside rhubarb and berry wines. The tasting room opens to outdoor seating, where visitors can taste, tour the vineyard, and eat. The house also offers overnight stays with breakfast included. Wine ships March through November, or whenever nighttime temperatures stay above 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
