Tierra Roja Vineyards

About

Tierra Roja Vineyard, located in the Oakville Appellation of Napa Valley, is owned and managed by Linda Neal, who has a deep-rooted passion for agriculture and viticulture. Linda's journey began in Southern California and led her to Napa in 1983, where she gained extensive experience in vineyard management. She purchased the 4-acre property in 1987, which has a rich history of previous ownership dating back to the 1920s. The vineyard is characterized by its distinctive red soil, which contributes to the quality of the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown there.

Tierra Roja produces a single varietal wine each year, focusing on meticulous vineyard management to ensure the best fruit ripens uniformly. The vineyard has seen several winemakers, with Benoit Touquette currently at the helm. The wines are noted for their richness, elegance, and balance, showcasing the unique terroir of the site.

Visitors can experience Linda's hospitality through private vineyard clinics, where she shares her viticultural knowledge. Tierra Roja also supports local non-profits through charitable initiatives. The vineyard's wines are available at select premium restaurants in Napa Valley.
