Thunder Bay Winery

Thunder Bay Winery opened in 2012 in Historic Downtown Alpena, a family operation. The tasting room, housed in the Historic Center Building, pours Chardonel, Sauvignon Blanc, Kerner, Traminette, Chambourcin, and Pinot Noir across white, red, fruit, cider, and dessert wines. Order by the glass, flight, or bottle. Seasonal outdoor seating and the Barrel Room accommodate both casual visits and events. Members receive a complimentary two-person tasting with six samples, plus fifteen percent off bottled wine and merchandise. Devils River, Red Sky At Night, and Grand Lake are award-winning wines.
