About

Larry and Esther Thal planted their vineyard in early 2010, with the first harvest arriving in 2012. Over 2,000 vines now grow on the property, more than half Cabernet Sauvignon. The program focuses on natural winegrowing and sustainability. The cellar produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc, alongside a Cabernet/Merlot Blend that runs 60% Cabernet and 40% Merlot, aged 21 months in French oak. The 2021 Blend earned Double Gold and 98 points at the California State Fair. Thal is a member of the Lamorinda Wine Growers Association and operates without a tasting room.
