Te Pa Wines

About

Haysley MacDonald started planting vines on his family's 800-year-old Wairau Bar land in 2003, and now winemaker Sam Bennett crafts some seriously good Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir Rosé, and Pinot Noir. Te Pa's gone global, but there's something distinctly personal about these wines, plus they've got solid value options under the Pa Road and Koha labels if you want to explore without breaking the bank.
