Tokaji royalty with serious pedigree, Szepsy has been making aszú wines since the 1500s and they're still going all-in on perfection. Their high-altitude vineyards on steep, stony slopes are planted with old vines (40-50+ years) focused on the tight-bunched Furmint grape, and they work across multiple Tokaji villages to really understand their terroir. It's the kind of dedication to one region that makes you understand why Tokaji became legendary in the first place.
