Straight To Ale Brands began in 2009 as a collective of local home brewers in Huntsville. The operation has grown into a 45,000-square-foot campus that houses the brewery itself alongside Shelta Cavern Spirits, Ale's Kitchen, and Campus Grounds Coffee. The program crafts beer and cider. Ale's Kitchen landed in Southern Living's Top Ten for Best Restaurants in Huntsville. Monkeynaut, one of the house beers, was named one of 2023's Most Underrated Beers To Drink This Spring by Craft Beer Experts at Uproxx. RateBeer recognized the brewery as the state's best brewer in 2019. The Anti Temperance Society, an exclusive membership club, offers early access to new releases, monthly socials, merchandise discounts, and a 22 oz tulip glass. Mayor Tommy Battle proclaimed February 14th Straight to Ale Day in Huntsville.
