About Stoney Brook Vineyards and Winery, LLC
Stoney Brook sits on the Showalter Farm, a 240-acre property in Botetourt County that has belonged to the family since the mid-1800s. Jim and Judy Showalter, along with their daughters Traci and Carrie and Carrie's husband Kevin, established the winery in 2012 on 28 acres of rolling hills. Four and a half acres are planted to vine. The tasting room opens Friday through Sunday, with an indoor space, a gathering room with fireplace, and an outdoor covered patio with space heaters. Chips, cheese-n-cracker boxes, and non-alcoholic drinks are available. Children and leashed dogs are welcome on the Sipping Porch and farm areas.
