Stella's Homestead

About

Stella's Homestead began in 1947 when Jim and Geraine Hansen bought the property fifteen miles out of Walla Walla, in the foothills of the Blue Mountains along Coppei Canyon near the South Fork Coppei Creek. The place is named after Jim's old mare, Stella. Cheryl Hansen returned to the homestead in 2017 to host. The family history includes raising Black Angus cattle and wheat farming. A great-grandfather, Robert William Leid, purchased mountain property three miles up the road in 1889. Five lodging options are available. Food and outdoor seating are offered.
