Pat Spangler left the Chicago Mercantile Exchange floor to establish this winery in 2004. Umpqua Valley, Roseburg. The program centers on reserve-quality Bordeaux varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc and Merlot, alongside Rhone work in Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Grenache Blanc. An unoaked Chardonnay rounds the portfolio. The cellar's anchor is old vine Cabernet Sauvignon, own-rooted and dry-farmed, planted between 1968 and 1971. Named 2018 Oregon Winery of the Year.
