Sonoran Desert Winery

About

Sonoran Desert Winery began in 2011 along Turkey Creek in the Sulphur Springs Valley, at the base of the Chiricahua National Monument in Cochise County. The program centers on Grenache, Petite Sirah, Mourvèdre, and Viognier. The 2021 Real de San Bernardino, a blend of Grenache, Petite Sirah, and Mourvèdre, earned gold at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, with the 2021 Mourvèdre taking silver and the 2023 Viognier bronze. Tastings happen the last Saturday of each month from noon to three. The tasting fee is fifteen dollars per person. Wine club members taste free, and the fee waives with the purchase of two bottles.
