About Son Alegre
Son Alegre is the first wine produced in the Santanyí region of Mallorca in over 125 years. The winery practices organic and biodynamic agriculture, focusing on grapes and olives while maintaining deep respect for nature. Owned by Miquel Manresa, the estate was transformed from a failed development project into a thriving organic farm.
Tasting Experiences
Wine and Olive Oil Tastings
Evening tastings of organic wines and extra virgin olive oil held at Cán Taconer (5-minute walk from the bodega), offered from 19:00-22:30 hours. Includes guided explanation of winemaking and oil production processes, accompanied by a dinner featuring typical Mallorcan products, dessert, and coffee. Conducted in Catalan, Spanish, English, and German. 48-hour advance reservation required due to limited capacity.
