About Solomone

Solomone is a family winery in the village of Chiatura, Imereti, whose winemaking lineage traces to founder-namesake Solomone in 1806; commercial production restarted in 2019 with 2,000 bottles and has scaled toward a 55,000-bottle annual capacity from 2 hectares of vines. It produces Imeretian qvevri and classic-style wines from Dzelshavi, Tsitska-Tsolikouri, and Krakhuna grapes.
