Simoneau Vineyards

About

Founded in 1988, Simoneau Vineyards sits at the western end of Alexander Valley. Tom Simoneau began producing wine in 2005, building the program on two core plantings. Five acres of Chardonnay, planted across nine different clones, yielded the Brenda Lee Chardonnay first released in 2008. Those vines span from 1972 to 2000. Five acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, across five clones, anchors the red work. The 2009 Cabernet took Gold and Best of Class at the 2015 Sonoma County Harvest Fair. Simoneau also produces the world's first commercially labeled Chardonnay Rosé, fifty cases every other year. About ninety-five percent of the grapes grown here are sold to other producers.
