About

Five siblings, Jeffrey, Kathryn, Michael, Steven, and Mary, steward 52 acres on Darms Lane just south of Yountville in the Oak Knoll District. The property has been in the family since 1942. Sarah Donley, who studied Enology at Fresno State and spent six years as Assistant Winemaker at Colgin Cellars, leads the program. The portfolio spans Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Sauvignon Blanc. A 1902 olive grove was restored and supplemented with new plantings. Shifflett Family Wines was founded in 2017.
