About Schade Creek Vineyard & Winery, L.L.C.
Jim and Nancy Schadé founded this vineyard in 2000, when South Dakota had only three wineries. Now under the stewardship of Dillon and Shelby Ringling, the vineyard sits just outside Volga, near Brookings, drawing from select fruits grown locally on and around the property. The cellar produces reds, whites, rosés, and specialty wines. A year-round tasting room is available, with a patio featuring a fireplace and seating for 38. Tasting is first come, first serve. The grounds also hold an outdoor tent for weddings and receptions, plus an Airbnb house for overnight stays.
