Sarsfield Estate

About Sarsfield Estate

Sarsfield Estate is a small premium winery in the Lakes and Wilderness area of East Gippsland, Victoria, established by Swiss migrants in 1989. The winery produces approximately 1000 cases of premium red wine annually using traditional methods including open vat fermentation and basket pressing, with all wines barrel matured and estate bottled. The operation is powered entirely by solar and wind energy and relies on rainwater, while also maintaining a grass-fed beef cattle herd.
