About Ruby Heels Wine Shoppe
Ruby Heels Wine Shoppe in San Marcos curates small-batch wines from France, Italy, and North American appellations, with particular attention to woman-owned vineyards and organic, biodynamic, and vegan selections. Peggy and Mike Jones, both trained through the Court of Master Sommeliers, guide the program. The shoppe operates a wine social club with monthly sommelier-selected offerings and member discounts of 20% or more on curated selections and 20% on wine purchases to go. The space hosts tastings, painting and wine events, pasta and gnocchi classes, murder mysteries, and downtown wine walks. Open Wednesday through Saturday, 3pm to 9pm.
