Rosella's Vineyard

About

Rosella's Vineyard sits on ten acres in Missouri Flat, within the Applegate Valley. Established in 1982 by Howard Whitaker, who developed the trellising, the vineyard began with Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1998, Rex and Sandi Garoutte purchased the property and renamed it after Rex's mother. In 2003, one acre of Chardonnay was replanted in Zinfandel. The vineyard operates as dry land farmed, producing eight hundred cases annually. The wine club offers free membership with two releases each year.
