Four miles west of Humboldt on Highway 3, River Valley Orchards & Winery operates on 12 acres where fruit for the program grows. Founded in 1998, the house produces 19 wines, most from what the farm yields. The portfolio includes cider made from nearly 20 apple varieties, Harvest Reserve, a plum wine made from three different plum varieties, and Beez Yak Mead, its honey sourced 8 miles south. The tasting room welcomes visitors. Vineyard tours are available. Orchard Hall, the event center, accommodates up to 300 people.
