About Reedy Creek Estate Wines
In 1974 Marco and Rosa Marchetti traded suburban Sydney for red-soil country on the Granite Belt, and Reedy Creek has stayed proudly in the family: today Marco's daughter Lucia and her children run the estate, still picking by hand and fermenting with native yeast. The original 1974 Shiraz block yields the flagship Old Vine Shiraz, and the cellar door wears its Italian heritage on its sleeve: preserved peppers on the shelves, a bocce court along the fence, and something always baking in the kitchen.
Tasting Experiences
Cellar Door Tastings
Walk-in guided tastings across the full range, available daily 9 am to 6 pm (5 pm in winter). Groups of eight or more welcome with advance notice.
Italian Kitchen & Terrace
Terrace kitchen serving traditional Italian biscotti, torta della nonna, espresso, antipasto boards with house-cured salumi, local cheeses and pickled vegetables. Handmade pasta sittings available by booking.
Cottage & Riverside Camping
Stay overnight in a two-bedroom stone cottage or pitch a tent beside Reedy Creek with morning views and short walk to the cellar door.
Vineyard Activities
Bocce games, veranda seating in summer, wood stove gatherings in winter, and sunset walks through the vine rows.
