About Redman Wines
Redman Wines has been in Coonawarra since 1908, with four generations of the Redman family crafting wines through Bruce, Mal, Dan, and Mike. The winery was the first in the region to build a full onsite winery. Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese are made from Coonawarra's terra rossa soil, with the Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese as notable wines. The cellar door recently celebrated its fifty-year anniversary and opens Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 11am–4pm. Tasting is free. The family returned the Rouge Homme brand to ownership after sixty years.
