Rancho Castillo was founded in 1974 and opened to the public in 1983, establishing itself as Arizona's oldest commercial vineyard and winery. The property sits in the Sonoita AVA at 5,000 feet elevation, where over 30 acres of vines grow. The tasting room operates daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Tuesdays and major holidays. The estate offers dry camping for up to three nights, Harvest Host camping, and glamping accommodations.
