About Raith
Doris and Franz shape Raith, now in its third generation across eight hectares split between Mailberg and Kleinweikersdorf. Grüner Veltliner, Frühroter Veltliner, Chardonnay, and Welschriesling form the core of the program. Forty percent of the vineyard sits within Weinviertel DAC. The house also tends fruit orchards and produces juices, spirits, and pumpkin seed specialties. Vineyard tours run two to two and a half hours for groups of four or more, starting at two p.m.
Tasting Experiences
Betriebsführungen (Farm Tours)
A 2-2.5 hour guided tour of the entire operation including agricultural facilities, fruit plantations, schnapps distillery, wine cellar, and vineyard. Includes barrel tasting, wine tasting of 5 wines with bread, and shopping opportunity. Available by appointment for groups of 4+ persons starting at 2 PM.
