About Quinta Alto da Serra
Quinta Alto da Serra is a small winemaking and ecotourism project established in 2015 by Joana Roque do Vale and Luis Soares Duarte on 7 hectares at 610m elevation in the Douro region. The winery practices minimalist, regenerative agriculture and natural winemaking, creating limited production wines while maintaining a focus on protecting and regenerating the local environment. Visitors experience intimate tastings in a cozy mountain-top setting with views, farm tours, and hospitality from the hands-on winemakers.
