About Poteet Country Winery

Poteet Country Winery opened on July 4th, 1998, and is the only winery south of San Antonio. Located on a working farm and ranch, the family owned and operated winery makes wine from local fruits and grapes without blending or flavoring. Poteet Strawberry Wine is made purely from Poteet Strawberries. Mustang Wine uses Texas native wild grapes, as does White Mustang Wine, which is made from Mustang grape juice alone. The Strawberry-Mustang blend combines the two. Every bottle is hand bottled and labeled. Free tastings are offered.
