About Philip Togni Vineyard

Philip Togni planted this ten-acre Spring Mountain vineyard in 1981 at 2,000 feet elevation: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot farmed organically. He studied under Emile Peynaud in Bordeaux and worked at Château Lascombes before landing in Napa in 1959. The flagship cab is a Margaux-style blend; they hold back portions of each vintage to re-release at ten, twenty, and thirty years.
