Pearl Vintners

About

Pearl Vintners moved to Portland in 2021, settling into a garage in NE Portland. Micah McNelly and Paula McNelly work with fruit sourced from Columbia Valley and Yakima Valley vineyards across the Washington border. The portfolio centers on Merlot, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon, with notable releases including the 2016 PV Merlot from Candy Mountain and the 2015 PV Latecomer Blend, a 60/40 Sangiovese-Cabernet blend. Red wines spend 22 to 30 months in a mix of new and neutral French, Hungarian, and American oak. The tasting room operates by appointment only.
