Parable Wines occupies a site on the northern reach of Silverado Trail in Calistoga, on land that sustained significant fire damage in 2020. What remained—a working cave beneath the property and a small estate vineyard—became the foundation for a new operation. Winemaker Kale Anderson sources from six vineyard sites, including an Atlas Peak block he has farmed since 2012 and the organically certified Vangone Vineyard. Tastings take place underground in the estate cave, by appointment.
