About

Victor Palencia has spent over 25 years in the Washington wine scene, beginning at age 13 when he joined his father and older brothers tending neighboring vineyards. Now founder and winemaker, he produces limited-quantity wines from Benton City, offered first to club members with only small allocations reaching the public. The Monarcha program sources from high-elevation vineyards with steep slopes and rocky terrain. In the past decade, Palencia has earned 36 Platinum Awards, and the winery itself received 2019 Pacific Northwest Winery of the Year recognition.
