About Nevada Sunset Winery
Kate Boyle MacDonald and Craig MacDonald run Nevada Sunset Winery from Downtown Reno's Brewery District, the city's only full production urban winery. MacDonald brings over 25 years of winemaking experience, beginning as a cellar hand in 1999. The pair have spent two decades planting and tending a family estate vineyard in Napa Valley. The portfolio spans Estate Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, Sierra Foothill Zinfandel, Merlot, Sangiovese, and Montepulciano, alongside Nevada Grown blends and varietals, Provence-style Dry Rosé, and white wines from red varietals. The MacDonalds also own and operate Boyle MacDonald Wines in Murphys, California.
