About Nassau Valley Vineyards
Delaware's first and only award-winning winery sits in Lewes, where the cellar opens to visitors on self-guided tours. The program spans a wine museum, production areas, and the working cellar itself, all free to explore. The portfolio moves between traditional varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay aged in French oak, and fruit-forward work, the 2023 Peach Ambrosia fermented entirely from peach juice with no additives, the 2022 True Blueberry from blueberries alone. The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon blends Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petite Verdot, aged twelve months in French oak. The 2023 House Red Blend layers Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon in American oak.
