Muster Maria & Sepp

About

Maria and Sepp Muster work the Graf estate in Leutschach, where the mineral soils support a portfolio of whites and reds. Sauvignon Blanc and Morillon anchor the program, joined by Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Blauer Wildbacher, Gelber Muskateller, and Welschriesling. The Graf line draws from old vines planted on meager Opok soil, while the Opok selection works younger plantings, up to twenty years old. Sgaminegg, a cuvée of Sauvignon Blanc and Morillon from old vines, sits in a vineyard rooted in pure Opok and cooled by winds from the Koralpe. Red grapevines were established decades ago. The estate has been named Graf since its beginning.
