About Moon Hollow Estate
Eighteen acres in the Moon Mountain District AVA, at 1,200 feet elevation on sunset-facing slopes. Moon Hollow Estate is CCOF-certified organic and produces 2,000 cases annually under winemakers Christophe Tassan, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, and Phil Coturri. The program spans Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier. Founded by Michael and Xochi Birch, the family-owned estate extends across more than 800 acres in Sonoma and Napa counties. The tasting room sits on historic Sonoma Plaza at 481 1st Street West.
