About MOLINO Az. Agr. S.S.

Virginio Molino and his sons Tommaso, Franco, and Dario established the company in 1991 at Treiso, acquiring a small parcel and winemaking facility. Dario trained at Alba's oenological school. Franco manages the 16 hectares of vineyard. Marco joined in 2013, and Francesca arrived in 2023 with a master's degree in Wine Culture and Management from UNISG. The Barbaresco Ausario vineyard, with southeast positions and 3800 to 5000 vines per hectare, ages 24 months partly in Barrique and partly in tonneau. Barbaresco Teorema, from the same vineyard area, spends 20 months partly in Barrique and partly in 20 hectolitre oak barrel.
