Mitchell Katz Winery was founded in 1998 in Livermore Valley, thirty miles east of San Francisco Bay, as a family endeavor honoring the founder's grandfather. The program spans Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc, and Rosé, alongside single-vineyard expressions like the 2023 Reserve Estate Chardonnay from Shadow Hills Vineyard. The portfolio also includes Español Mariposa Tawny Port, California Sparkling Wine, and the Fat Boy blend.
