Martha's Vineyard of Skamania County

About

Tom and Rae Aspitarte established Martha's Vineyard of Skamania County in Washougal, Washington in 2013 on an old river bed in the Washougal River valley. The vineyard sits on predominantly rounded river rock, outside any established AVA, though a petition for Mount St. Helens AVA was submitted in August. The work uses only Organic methods. Since becoming a Bonded Winery in 2019, the operation has remained a one barrel program that sources exclusively from estate fruit. LIVE certification arrived on the labels in 2024. The tasting room is open to visitors.
