About Maiolatesi Wine Cellars
Sal Maiolatesi runs the cellar in Childs, Pennsylvania, where he has created over 30 varieties across Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet Franc Rosé arrives crisp and fruity, nearly dry, with hints of strawberry and honeydew. The Sauvignon Blanc, aged in stainless steel, is fruit forward yet full bodied. Giulia's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, named after his youngest daughter, spends 14 months in Hungarian oak. The tasting room occupies the second floor, where wine flights and shareable plates including brick oven pizza are served. Susquehanna Brewing Co. operates the taproom on the ground floor.
