About
Jerry and Sherrie Culver planted Little Vine's first vines in March 2011, reviving commercial grape growing in West Central Georgia after a century's absence. The initial three acres held 700 Norton and 700 LeNoir vines. A second planting followed in 2012, adding 900 Blanc du Bois, 350 Villard Blanc, and 55 Herbemont vines across another three acres. The 2013 harvest brought 9.5 tons. By 2014, the program yielded 20 tons across the portfolio, with seven tons Blanc du Bois, five tons Norton, one ton Villard Blanc, and seven tons LeNoir. The 2015 vintage produced 25 tons, with LeNoir leading at twelve tons. The first winery built in the region in over 100 years, Little Vine is located in Villa Rica, Georgia.
