The winery is situated on gently rolling hills between 220-280m elevation with south and southwest-facing slopes that benefit from cooling sea breezes from False Bay. Their wines are characterized by classical, distinctive, and pure expressions of terroir, with a focus on preserving heritage vineyards including Certified Heritage Chenin Blanc vines over 35 years old.
