Las Positas Vineyards

About

Las Positas Vineyards sits on 20 acres in the southwest corner of Livermore Valley, where Brent Amos leads the program. Amos holds a degree in Oenology and Viticulture from Fresno State and spent seven years at Fenestra before joining the house, bringing experience from Ferrari-Carano and Fritz. The portfolio spans Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Tempranillo, Barbera, Petite Sirah, and Chardonnay. The work has earned three San Francisco Chronicle Competition Sweepstakes Best of Show Awards, including Best Red in 2019 and Best White in both 2024 and 2025. Tastings run $25 for a wine flight. Live music plays Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm, with tapas, flatbreads, salads, and desserts available. The wine club, free to join, offers three membership levels: Estate, Reserve, and Elite.
