Labry Wines

About Labry Wines

Labry Wines is a small winery located in southern Rutherford, Napa Valley, encompassing just 4.2 acres of prime vineyard land. The property has a rich viticultural history, previously farmed by renowned viticulturist David Abreu until 1995, and later replanted to Cabernet Sauvignon clones by current owners Ed and Kim Labry. The Labrys purchased the property in 2016, having been guided by local vineyard owners Garen and Shari Staglin. Their wine portfolio includes 100% varietal wines sourced from specific vineyard blocks, emphasizing the unique characteristics of each vintage.

The winery produces a range of wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon, all crafted to be balanced and ageworthy. The Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from Ashe Vineyards and features a complex profile with notes of honey and stone fruits. The Cabernet Sauvignon, particularly the 2022 vintage, showcases rich fruit flavors and a smooth texture, aiming for broad appeal. Labry Wines does not currently offer public tastings, focusing instead on quality production and storytelling through their wines.
