About La Maison Romane
Oronce de Beler founded La Maison Romane in 2005, beginning with grapes purchased that first harvest. The house relocated to Nuits-Saint-Georges in 2017, installing a vaulted cellar beneath the address. The program centers on Pinot Noir from farmers working organic, biodynamic, or soil-respectful vineyards. Whole grape clusters enter the cellar. Wines age twelve months in old oak, then bottle without fining or filtration. Minimal or no added sulfur is used in winemaking.
