This Hungarian winery is on a mission to bring wine back to Szentendre, a historic Budapest suburb that was once one of Hungary's biggest wine regions before phylloxera wiped it out over a century ago. They're farming volcanic soil on the famous Kőhegy hill and blending traditional southern winemaking with modern techniques to create wines that taste like the terroir they're reclaiming. Come for a cellar tour and tasting, stay for wine that's basically a history lesson.
