Founded in 1621 in Westhalten. Jean-Claude Koehler and his wife Marie-Antoinette took over in 1966. Christian Koehler and Frédérique have run the domain since 1999, initiating environmental practices in 2010 and earning Haute Valeur Environnementale certification in 2019. Nine hectares across Westhalten, Soultzmatt, and Rouffach, including the Grand Cru Zinnkoepflé. The program centers on Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Sylvaner, and Pinot Noir, plus crémant. Fermentations move slowly, without sulfites until alcoholic fermentation ends. Ninety percent of the work reaches private customers directly.
