Karydas Estate

Karydas Estate

About the winery

This tiny 2.6-hectare estate in Ano Gastra focuses entirely on Xinomavro, aging it for 18-20 months in French oak before another four to five months in bottle to round out the wine's wild edges. The sandy clay soil with calcium and careful three-stage harvest at the end of September give these Greek reds serious structure and balance.
