About Karamoor Estate Vineyard & Winery
Nick and Athena Karabots founded Karamoor in 1980, combining their surname with Oxmoor to name the estate. Twenty-three acres of densely planted vinifera vines, architected by Lucie Morton, form the vineyard's foundation. The program centers on Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Meritage, with notable releases including the 2015 Meritage, 2016 Meritage, 2017 Cabernet Franc, 2017 Barrel Select Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021 Chardonnay, and 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon. Family-owned and operated, the estate maintains a tasting room and welcomes dogs.
