Jenkins Farms

About

Jenkins Farms opened in Penrose in 2017, founded by the Kauffmans, a retired Green Beret and his family. The owner spent twenty-six years with the 10th Special Forces Group and came to love wine culture while stationed in Germany. The tasting room at 1215 Apple Lane pours Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Marquette, Gewurztraminer, and Riesling. Ruttin Red, a blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Pinot Noir, is part of the portfolio. White wines run $5 per glass or $17 per bottle. Marquette is $8 per glass or $24 per bottle. Golden Meadows is sold only in-house.
